New Gate Garibaldi, Milan

Structural design and construction management assistance

The new Garibaldi-Repubblica hub is configured as an element of urban reconnection of areas that have long been abandoned.

The center of the intervention is the three towers arranged around a circular square and above the so-called “podium”, a base of approximately 60,000 square meters intended for commercial activities, restaurants and parking.

The square is structured around pools of water, seats, shelters and light wells designed to illuminate the shopping centre contained within the podium itself.

The three towers, which serve as offices, act as a natural barrier and welcome for the city's movements, becoming a stopping point and a transit hub.
