Structural works and construction management
The construction of the new SKY Italia headquarters is located in the Milan Santa Giulia area.
The complex is made up of three buildings arranged in a radial pattern, connected to each other by a common platform with two underground floors intended for parking, plant rooms and warehouses.
Building 1 (technology building) is connected to building 2 via a connecting body which is in turn connected to building 3 via a multi-storey suspension bridge over the road; both buildings are intended for offices.
The structural design of the 32-meters-span bridge, supported by metal structures constituting the two structural facades, required considerable effort.
