Static testing during construction

The works in the project concern the construction of a greenhouse, located on the first floor of the building in Piazza Liberty 4 in the heart of the city of Milan.

 

The new structure is self-supporting with vertical and horizontal structural glass roofing elements, and features a lightweight metal frame for storage purposes.

 

The geometry in plan is rectangular, with dimensions of approximately 10m by 5m and a double-pitched roof. Centrally there is a protruding body of approximately 1 m with a central roof with a circular vault.

 

The body is 4.80 m high and positioned at an altitude of 6.30 m, on a floor made using a lattice of metal carpentry beams.
