Static testing during structural works

The works in the project concern the reinforcement interventions of the attic on the ground floor of the building in question. The building is dated as a construction between the years 1938-1940 as inferred from the documentation found.

The construction of an extradosal reinforcement is planned, placed above the lightening elements of the floor slab, in order to avoid the phenomenon of punching of the loads.

In addition to the above, the construction of an intrados grating in metal carpentry was planned with respect to the existing floor;

This grating has the function of transmitting the load of 800kg/m2 for the secondary beams and 500kg/m2 for the main beams to the vertical structures.

Location : Viale Tunisia Milan, Italy

Surface area : 850 m²

Activity performed : static tester during construction and final with review of stability calculations
