Fire resistance calculation of structural works

The industrial/commercial building has floor plan dimensions of approximately 45m x 46.45m.

 

This area is characterized by two zones, the first defines a single floor (ground floor) while the second defines two floors (ground floor and first floor); both characterized by the same roofing that has spans of over 15 meters.

 

The single-storey area is designated for use as a warehouse, while the two-storey area is designated for use as a commercial activity.

 

It is made using prefabricated reinforced concrete works and ordinary reinforced concrete structures and has been the subject of a materials characterization campaign; calculation of the fire resistance of the structural works and related CERT REI document.
