Vulnerability, fire and feasibility check for photovoltaic park installation
The industrial building is made with a prefabricated structure that covers a surface area of approximately 3,150 m2.
The load-bearing structure is composed of pillars arranged in a regular grid of 12x12 m, with sections measuring 35x45 cm (joints) and 45x45 cm. The main beams, hollow and with a rectangular section, measure 45x90 cm along the perimeter and 45x110 cm in the central part, with a span of 12 m, while the secondary reticular beams, characterised by a double slope, are positioned with a distance between them of 4 m.
Prefabricated tiles were installed on the trusses.
We took care of the document analysis and assistance in the execution of fact-finding investigations as well as the seismic vulnerability and fire verification checks of vertical and horizontal structural elements. Finally, a static and fire analysis was carried out with a feasibility opinion for the installation of a new photovoltaic park on the roof.
