Calculation of fire resistance of structural works

The industrial/office building has a plan size of approximately 49.50mx 73.50m. This area is characterized by two zones, the first defines a single floor (ground floor) while the second defines two floors (ground floor and first floor); both characterized by the same roof that has spans of over 16.50 meters.

 

The single-storey area is characterised by its industrial use, while the two-storey area is characterised by its office use.

 

It is made using prefabricated reinforced concrete works and ordinary reinforced concrete structures and has been the subject of a materials characterization campaign; calculation of the fire resistance of the structural works and related CERT REI document.
