Supervision of structural works

Structural works related to the project “Enhancing and environmental adaptation of the Bresso/Niguarda purification plant – 1st lot”.

The works mainly concern the execution of hot-dip galvanized metal carpentry structures. The frame supporting the two roofs is composed of tubular section structural elements, arranged to form an exposed truss, with a primary framework, supported by tubular columns, connected to the beams via a hinged node and a secondary one, which overhangs the roof formed by aluminum tiles.

Building C5: planimetric dimensions equal to 63.30 mx 65.50 m, height of 4.00 m; columns diameter 0.70 m; tile span 8.00 m.

Building C1: planimetric dimensions equal to 18.90 mx 20.30 m, height of 2.00 m; columns diameter 0.50 m; tile span 6.20 m.

In addition to the above-described works, the expansion of two existing buildings using traditional reinforced concrete structures is planned, as well as reinforced concrete slabs and walls for new sedimentation tanks.
