Structural works design
The new residential complex consists of two buildings featuring a single basement level that has an extension of 6,600 m2.
The buildings both define 4 floors above ground for a total planimetric extension of 7,350 m2.
The load-bearing structural works - pillars and the 4 stairwell/lift bodies - are made of reinforced concrete.
The floors are made of bidirectional plates with cantilevers that have a span of 3.60 m. The foundation works are of the direct slab type.
Each building is defined by a dynamically independent structure, which following detailed analysis from the point of view of thermal load has allowed the construction of bodies greater than 50 meters.
Location : Cernusco sN, Italy
Floor area : 13,950 m²
Structural works : Eng. Andrea Sangalli
