Project of new structural works and seismic adaptation
The project includes the building recovery with change of intended use and the elevation of two floors made of metal carpentry. In addition, a new eight-storey building in reinforced concrete (RC) will be built.
The structural works include waterproofing with the creation of a white tank for the underground floors, ensuring protection against water infiltration. Seismic adaptation will be carried out by inserting a reinforced concrete core and reinforcing the existing structures with FRCM composite materials, improving their resistance and ductility.
With a surface area of approximately 12,000 m2, the project represents a complex and innovative intervention, aimed at enhancing the existing building, satisfying the needs of seismic safety and contemporary functionality.
