Structural works and construction management

New industrial building in the Municipality of Monza built on an area of 3,700 m2 with a prefabricated structure assembled in the factory. Two spans define the internal layout of the building with spans of nearly 22.50 meters of floors characterized by pre-stressed tiles with a “wing” section. These elements are supported by pre-stressed beams with a span of 20.00 meters. Ordinary reinforced concrete pillars with a height of 7.30 meters conduct the loads to the foundation.

A peculiarity related to the wing tile led to the drafting of detailed calculation analyses, with particular reference to the tangential action and to a load test aimed at verifying a comparison with the numerical results.

Cantilevered metal carpentry brackets with a span of 4.00 metres, protruding from the pillars, define a canopy covering the loading bays.
