Structural and building works project and related works management

Prestigious residential building located in the heart of Milan, in via Solferino, a project that involved a property of great historical and architectural value, with a total surface area of 7,500 m2. The activities carried out included the execution of the overall geometric survey using laser-scanner technology, with detailed graphic restitution, and the detailed survey of the cracking and degradation patterns present on the works.

The integrated executive design included structural, construction and safety aspects, focusing on the consolidation of the arches and masonry vaults present in the basement and ground floors. Innovative composite materials were used for these interventions, capable of guaranteeing structural resistance and preserving the historical value of the building.

Furthermore, the wooden roof was completely re-done, restoring the functionality and aesthetics of the building. A project that represents a virtuous example of intervention on historic buildings in the heart of Milan.
